The Admission Visitors Center is now accepting reservations for prospective students interested in attending a Hawkeye Visit Day this spring.
Hawkeye Visit Days typically feature University staff and current student volunteers who guide several hundred visitors through a full day of activities, including:
- An Iowa Overview session, including information about admission, housing, financial aid and student life
- A Q&A session with current students
- A 30-minute campus bus tour or campus walking tour
- A residence hall tour and lunch
- An Exploring Majors Fair, including representatives from more than 60 academic programs and student service departments
- Academic area/college sessions and tours
- A Fraternity/Sorority Life session and tour
Students and families are encouraged to register early as reservations are required and some programs fill quickly.
Programs for spring 2012 are scheduled on these dates:
- Monday, February 20 (U.S. holiday)
- Friday, March 2
- Friday, March 23
- Friday, March 30
- Friday, April 6 (U.S. holiday)
- Friday, April 20
