Students interested in studying the health sciences at The University of Iowa should consider attending one of the Mini Medical Schools the UI Carver College of Medicine is hosting this spring at various locations across the country.
With topics of discussion ranging from genetics to stem cells to “virtual” anatomy, the Mini Medical Schools are a great way to learn more about the cutting-edge medical research and education happening at the UI, and the people who make it happen. The events are open to the public, so anyone with an interest in research and medicine is welcome to attend. Participation is free, but Registration is Required.
Five of the Mini Medical Schools are scheduled in various Iowa locations between January 25 and May 17. In addition, there is are two February events in Texas and a March 22 event in Minneapolis, Minn.
We’re sorry; the two Texas events have been canceled.
