Hello and greetings from the University of Iowa, where class is back in session and campus is bustling with the excitement of a new school year. My name is Kirk Kluver, and in August I began my duties as the Director of Admissions at this terrific university.
It is a pleasure to introduce myself to you – the counselors, advisers, and educators who guide and prepare students for the next step of their education. Over the next several years, I look forward to partnering with you to find out how our office can best serve you and your students as they consider their choices for college.
Here at Iowa, we just finished welcoming our largest and highest achieving class ever. As we continue to push toward our goals for sustained growth, it is important we educate prospective students about the wide range of academic choice, scholarship support, and extracurricular activities available at this university. We offer top-ranked programs along with the student support and leadership opportunities that provide our students with an exceptional college experience.
Now more than ever, it is an exciting time to be a Hawkeye. Over the next few years we will open multiple state-of-the-art facilities, including residence halls, performance arts buildings, and medical facilities that will enhance the educational opportunities for our students. I look forward to working with you and encourage you to use our office as a resource to answer any questions you or your students have about Iowa.
Sincerely,
Kirk Kluver
Director of Admissions
